The heartbreaking loss of life in Palestine is compounded by the willful and wasteful destruction of the potential of an entire generation. In Gaza we are supporting new mothers who have lost their husbands with essential supplies for wellness and dignity, as well as health visitors to monitor mother and child medical needs and to offer advice.

In the months since this project began we have seen a dramatic deterioration in the health of our mothers and babies as well as in the living conditions in which they are expected to survive. Our efforts to source supplies from within the Strip are becoming more and more difficult and our health visitors are reporting a lack of access to basic disease prevention and medical supplies.

Thanks to the selfless efforts of our partners on the ground we are able to sustain our work and we will continue to provide relief for as long as possible.
